Gentle Flow: is suitable for a beginner yoga student or a more advanced student that wishes to practice at a slower pace. Combining movement with breath, this class will take you through a series of basic yoga poses and stretches that are organic and easily accessible. Perfect for all those who seek peace of mind.
Vinyasa: is often faster paced, and the poses are linked together in a series of movements that are synchronized with the breath. The continual movements, from one pose to another, gives you an added cardiovascular benefit, which more traditional forms of yoga do not have. The routine practice of vinyasa yoga can increase muscle strength, endurance and flexibility, and reduce levels of stress.
Power Flow: This 60-minute class is a strong, fast-paced class designed to build heat and strength. This practice is a total body workout that creates longer, leaner muscles and a body with more mobility to improve circulation. We recommend that students seeking to take these classes feel confident, safe, and strong throughout classic sun salutations.
Hatha Align: Verbal, precise and actively corrected, Hatha Alignment classes will make you aware of misalignments and how to correct them, improve your posture, and encourage being in the present moment. You will explore basic poses more deeply, as well as practice intermediate and advanced poses. By repeating poses and staying in them longer, you have time to discover a deeper level of understanding of both basic and more refined levels of alignment: inner and outer, shape and direction, form and function. Being still in a pose will become effortless and joyful.
Yoga Fundamentals: This class will focus on learning the functional movements so you feel supported as you move forward on your yoga journey. You will learn techniques to help control your body and mind through meditation, gratitude, and chakras. This is an all level class designed to keep any Yogi engaged and encouraged.
Restorative Yoga: This class focuses on poses that promote relaxation, restoration, and rejuvenation. Restorative poses help relieve the effects of chronic stress, including weakness and fatigue brought on by our daily fast paced activities. Each restorative sequence is designed to move the spine in all directions by practicing backbends, forward bends, twists and inversions using props allowing for deep relaxation. These poses teach us how to cultivate awareness by bringing our attention to the areas we hold tension and consciously releasing and letting it go. This is an all levels class, appropriate for beginners and those new to yoga.
Yoga Sculpt: Strengthen, Lengthen, and Sculpt. We're bringing Yoga Fitness to a whole new level of muscle engagement in this Yoga Sculpt class. Get your heart rate up in while incorporating free weights. Increase your overall strength and engage muscle in a whole new way. Add some core work to the mix. With a strong core you will stand taller and safely support yourself better throughout your yoga practice. This class will sculpt you, while stretching you back out with a yoga sequence sprinkled throughout.

Aerial Yoga: ***REGISTRATION NEEDED*** uses a soft, fabric aerial hammock suspended from the ceiling, you’ll explore new and traditional yoga poses with your body weight partially or fully supported. This allows you to expand flexibility, increase range of motion, build strength, lengthen the spine, and relax the nervous system. Never more than a few feet off the ground, you’ll let go into gravity, be held in the hammock, and awaken yogic bliss.

Barre classes mix elements of dance, yoga, functional training, and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. For these Barre workouts, the barre is there simply as a prop — which we use in conjunction with handheld weights, a core ball and resistance bands — to help balance and strengthen the body. These workouts give you everything you need, all in one: a centered mind, a deep-muscle burn and a heart-thumping endorphin high — all without negative impact on your joints. You will sweat, and you'll definitely feel the burn during and after class.
Pura Vida's personal trainers are fitness professionals that will be involved in the exercise prescription and instruction of all clients. We will motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability. Trainers will measure their client's strengths and weaknesses with a fitness assessment. These fitness assessments may also be performed before and after an exercise program to measure their client's improvements in physical fitness. They may also educate their clients in many other aspects of wellness besides exercise, including general health and nutrition guidelines.

Physical Readiness Training
Physical Readiness Training (PRT): aims first at developing strength, endurance, and mobility. Secondary goals of PRT are to instill confidence and the will to win; develop teamwork and team cohesion; and integrate aggressiveness, resourcefulness, and resilience. These skills are essential to personal safety and effective personal performance.
$15.00 per session.
Youth Conditioning: is an innovative concept that combines resistance circuit training and a positive learning environment that is specifically designed for kids between the ages of 8 to 18 yrs. The assisted 60-minute program is a quality outlet that promotes self-esteem, healthy living, fitness, and fun. Our approach is not just about combating childhood obesity, but also to teach that exercise is simple and fun; using hands-on, creative ways to stress the importance of a healthy living.

Corporate Wellness/ Private Parties
Corporate Wellness: we offer a range of practices, from gentle and meditative to therapeutic or active. We can quickly determine the most appropriate offerings for your staff/group. Class duration is 55 minutes, but can be modified to suit your needs.
