Becky Rondone

Becky is a U.S. Army Veteran, a former Federal Police Officer, and a former Federal Police Academy Physical Training Instructor. Becky has over a decade of experience being a Personal Trainer and is a 200 Hour RYT. She also volunteers as a Fellowship of Christian Athlete (FCA) Character Coach, and is a youth strength and conditioning coach. Becky has also obtained her degree in psychology and is well versed in nutrition and health. Becky embodies a comprehensive skill set geared to enhancing the psychological and physiological well-being of her clients. Becky is a certified Maryland First Responder as well as a Youth Safety Coach through USA Athletics.

Jadynn Rondone

Let's welcome Jadynn to the Pura Vida Yoga Family! Jadynn’s decade long gymnastics career provides her with a given ability in Asana(postures). As an old soul at 17 years old, she is a seeker of Philosophy and Self Inquiry. She self sought more of the Limbs of Yoga. As an advocate of the mental and emotional benefits of yoga, Jadynn completed her 200HR RYTT March 2020 at Pura Vida. Her classes utilize unique physical transitioned postures, vital breath work, mindfulness, and a PURE Vibe emulating her Spirit. As a missionary at age 13 to Costa Rica, she was destined to teach Yoga to the World.

Lishamarie Hunter

Lisha is a retired SFC and veteran, who has over 25 years in the United States Army and was trained as a mechanic. She graduated Towson University as an Art Educator with a Bachelors degree in Creative Writing, Art Education, and Art history. In addition she taught 4 years with the Cecil County Public School System. Lisha avidly worked out throughout her military career and has several awards for powerlifting. She wanted to bring depth and peace to her yoga practice so she became a certified 200 Hour RYT in 2017. She also has 19 hours of additional yoga training in Trauma Yoga. She also loves to volunteer at the local Vet Centers providing yoga to Military Veterans.

Brianna Haffey

Brianna Is a fun loving Soul who grew up in Havre de Grace. She discovered the practice of yoga around 2010 and continued in the development of mind, body and soul on and off for several years. In 2018, she realized she wanted to further her learnings and share her teachings with others, so she embarked on a journey to South East Asia, where she went to Thailand and immersed herself in a 200hr RYT. Brianna has since traveled Australia, learning, teaching and sharing with others the practices of yoga, in all aspects of the mind, body, and soul. She infuses her energy of this beautiful life into her practices, sharing positive intentions while incorporating fun flows, which include music and sometimes a groovy dance move! She is very excited to be a part of this Pura Vida Community.--

Tammy Woodard

Tammy Woodard began practicing Yoga in 2018 with a regular weekly routine right here at Pura Vida Yoga, and wanted to expand on her practice. Tammy began the journey by enrolling in the 200 hour certified yoga teacher training at Pura Vida Yoga and Physical Training, and in March 2020 became certified. Tammy Woodard holds a 200HR certificate through Yoga Alliance. Tammy believes yoga offers opportunity for everyone. As a newly certified teacher she hopes to live, laugh, grow and continue learning with other yoga practitioners. Originally from Baltimore, MD, Tammy relocated to Cecil County in 2003.

Christy Weikert

Let’s welcome Christy to the Pura Vida Yoga Family!! Christy received her 200RYT in Power Yoga with Shanti Yoga while she was stationed in the Marine Corps, in Okinawa, Japan in 2007. Since then, she has taken additional teacher training in Baptiste, Mysore Ashtanga, Rocket, and the Nahi Warrior Flow. She has an extensive background in assisting and teaching inversion techniques. Her classes are power and alignment based, focusing on what students are currently working on within their own practice.

Meghan Staley

Let's welcome Meghan to the Pura Vida Family! Meghan started practicing yoga as a form of physical exercise over ten years ago. Over time, her relationship with the practice evolved, as she realized the mental and emotional benefits of yoga. Meghan has been an elementary school teacher for eight years. Meghan is a 200-hour RYT. Her classes utilize physical postures, deep breathing, mindfulness, and music and allow her students to tune in to themselves and to connect with the world around them. Meghan firmly believes that yoga is for everyone, and strives to make her classes accessible to students of all levels

Mary Ellen Ward

Mary Ellen Ward recently retired from VAMHCS at Perry Point where she worked as a Registered Dietitian for the past 28 years. Mary Ellen has been consistently practicing yoga for the past eight years and received her 200RYT in 2014 from One Yoga in Wilmington Delaware. Since then, she has received additional training in yoga for Veterans, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and yoga doe back care. Mary Ellen has been a Volunteer at the Perry Point hospital leading yoga classes for both inpatient and outpatient Veterans. Mary Ellen strives to meet people where they are in their yoga practice and to assist them in reaching their full potential.

Courtney Cronis

Let's welcome Courtney to the Pura Vida Team! Courtney is a 500RYT, originally from Cecil County and trained in Baltimore, MD. She is a devoted teacher, committed to using yoga as a tool for inward transformation and awakening--both on the yoga mat and off of it in life. Her classes are hands-on and detail-oriented, blending dynamic movement and energetic connection. She's returning to Cecil County after teaching in Virginia Beach and Los Angeles, and is excited to share all that she's learned with students here!
